New Centre Launched in Newham
On Sunday January 15th, we had the privilege of launching Newham YFC; our 72nd Local YFC Centre. The launch event was a fantastic occasion where Centre Director Jimmy Dale and trustees were commissioned and the Centre received their Charter. It's amazing to see fresh YFC local ministries birthed in new areas and with the Olympics coming up it looks set to be an exciting first year for Newham YFC.
YFC explores the journey at annual conference
Almost 400 people converged on Bodelwyddan Castle in North Wales last week to attend YFC Conference 2012. It was a fantastic week where delegates enjoyed inspiring worship, insightful Bible teaching and great fellowship. The theme for the week was 'Journey' and God spoke mightily to individuals, Centres and the movement as a whole. After such an exciting, prophetic and challenging conference, people left with renewed energy and hope for this new year.
Happy New Year
We thank God for His great goodness to us throughout 2011. As we have worked to relevantly take the good news of Jesus Christ to young people, we've seen God transform lives and change hearts as young people across Britain have surrendered their lives to Him and become His witnesses to the world. We look forward excitedly to what He will do in 2012!
