YOUTH FOR CHRIST - INVESTING IN YOU!
Youth for Christ recognises that Youth Ministry can often be a lonely business. This is why we place a lot of importance on the provision of high-quality training events and conferences for Youth Workers, Evangelists and Young Leaders - giving them the opportunity to 'mingle' with their peers, share ideas and encourage each other.
UPCOMING EVENTS
GETTING YOUR KIDS THROUGH CHURCH WITHOUT THEM ENDING UP HATING GOD TOUR
Getting Your Kids Through Church Without Them Ending Up Hating God* is a churchwide initiative to help prevent a generation of young people being lost to the church. To stem the tide of young people leaving the church and to help churches, parents and all those working with young people to understand some of the reasons why and begin to address them Care for the family will be.....
- Taking a fresh look at what may cause young people to turn away from the church and how we can play our part in reversing this trend
- Thinking in new ways about what is happening in the lives of young people and what really matters to God
- Considering how the way we live out our own faith impacts young people
- Learning from the wisdom and experience of other parents and leaders who have gone through similar challenges
Care for the Family has set the ball rolling through the book by Rob Parsons and major nationwide event tours. A number of like-minded organisations have committed to working with us and together we plan to develop complementary resources.
But the real answer to the question ‘How?’ is: through you. Via the website and our Facebook and Twitter pages we want to encourage parents, leaders and church members to join the conversation – to share their experiences (the highs and the lows), to ask the difficult questions and to answer them so that together we can make progress in preventing a generation of young people being lost to the church.

YOUTH ALPHA TOUR 2011
The Youth Alpha team are most certainly on the road again and they’re coming across the UK to a place near you.....
The Youth Alpha team would really love to see young people equipped and encouraged to share their faith with their friends. The Youth Alpha Tour is about just that – the day exists for both young people and youth workers/ youth volunteers who want to find out a bit more about Youth Alpha, get trained, equipped and inspired to run a course.
What Youth Alpha have found is that the best courses are the ones where the leaders have been trained really well. And that’s why they’re doing the Youth Alpha tour all over the UK; to train young people to share their faith using Youth Alpha and equip youth workers to facilitate this. If you’re near any of the tour stops (see below), the team would love to train you and your young people to run a Youth Alpha course.
So have a think then book on to what will be a fun filled day with the Youth Alpha dream team.
