YFCONE BIG DAY REPORT
On Saturday 15th March the yfcone team held their Big Day at our head office in Halesowen. It was an incredible occasion which saw over 100 people come from around the country to find out more about gap-year opportunities.
Skating to Christ!
The last weekend in February saw Bath YFC taking 11 young people away as part of the Switch course (Skate – outreach) which started in January.
Does God have a MySpace? The Tour
Does God Have A MySpace? is a highly interactive and cutting edge multi-media event from Youth for Christ, that harnesses the unparalleled popularity and potential of social-interfacing sites, such as MySpace and Facebook to communicate Good News to young people.
HMP Hope Tour – Onley
The HMP Hope tour kicked off with a week long mission in Onley prison. The new Locdown team were blown away by the amount of talent and potential within the prison as they ran the new Key Skills accredited music course in prison for the first time.
New Centres opening
Recently we have had the privilege of opening two new local Centres, in Bradford and Durham. Bradford Youth for Christ was officially launched on the 26th January 2008. Here are some comments from the evening.
The Brazilians have arrived!
After a whole year of preparation, we recently welcomed 5 Brazilians to our country who have come to spend a year working with us.
Amy in Capetown
Amy Sattin is currently out in Cape Town on one of YFC's overseas opportunities. Amy has been in South Africa since the 1st of January.
New office, new office boss
Lorne Campbell, Operations Director has overseen the office relocation, and we are excited to now be settling in to our brand new office building.

Forest of Arden YFC
I work for Forest of Arden YFC and we have been working in a number of schools recently. We ran the Nooma series at Studley High School recently during our lunch time 'drop'in' club. We usually get 10-25 people from years 7,8 & 9 ....
Wearside Teachers request Youth ALPHA!
During 2006 Wearside Youth for Christ team ran a Youth Alpha Course at one of their local schools following a number of Christian teachers requesting this and approaching the team about helping them.

Shop `till you drop at 2gether
The Chislehurst Youth for Christ project has been funded for the past two years by our charity shop, ‘2gether’. I was taken on board just two days before the shop opened. It was a real challenge as I’d just finished my degree and hadn’t yet had a full time job let alone manage a new shop.
