And so it begins...
This week sees the arrrival of our brand new YFC one volunteers. They have travelled from all over Britain and further afield including the USA, with a unified goal of seeing God act both in their own lives, and also through them in the communities which will become their home over this next year.
The volunteers will begin their year with 2 weeks of intensive training, based at Cliff College, from some of YFC's finest youth workers, speakers and evangelists, mixed with specialist knowledge from experts who partner with YFC. With the volunteers fired up, encouraged and equipped, they then move on a number of our local centres or join one of our missions teams - Nomad, Crux Theatre and Crux Media - to go and utilise their training.
Please pray for the young volunteers as they start their year of learning, giving and leaving their comfort zones, and also for the staff providing the training and helping them draw nearer to God - these volunteers will impact many many lives over the next year, and we want to send them out as prepared and confident as possible.
