Overseas Missions Teams 2011
As the teams thought about their overseas missions this year, there was a huge list of things to give God thanks for amazing friends for life; enough money for His mission; support from home churches; the chance to work in an area of real need; a united family across the globe; the fact that God speaks all languages and is greater than culture shock; His help in overcoming fears and healing from back problems and nightmares; opportunities to show God’s love; the smiling faces of the young people; encouragement in leading for the first time…. and many many more .
The teams programme included pioneering work amongst young people in Annecy (France), going to a new area of work in Poland for Year 5 of the Rugby church team, youth ministry in the stunning area of Cape Town; painting a maternity ward in a Tanzania hospital and working in an English camp near Moscow where 60 young people became Christians in a camp of around 160 people. God is good!!
