One In A Million

The One In A Million Project has been set up by Zimbabwe YFC, to raise $1,000,000 - $1 at a time.
$1,000,000 allows the purchase of a hotel building on 18 acres of beautiful land, 10km from Bulawayo, the 2nd largest city in Zimbabwe. 'Hotel Rio' will then become home to up to 120 girls and babies at a time, allowing the Sandra Jones Children's Village to care and provide for more girls, more effectively.
The young girls, many of whom are victims of rape and/or incest and subsequently pregnant and/or HIV positive, are looked after, raised and educated, allowing them to enter the adult world properly equipped - emotionally, educationally and spiritually. The abandoned babies and toddlers that are brought to the village are nurtured until they are ready for adoption by loving carers.

Your support allows these young girls and babies to start afresh, to grow up knowing the love of their Heavenly Father, and to given a better chance in life. Your gift today would be an investment in a project that worked with over 500 young people in the past decade, and allow that figure to hugely increase over the next decade.
Sandra Jones Children's Village would love to work with young girls as soon as they know that they are at risk, but are already oversubscribed and struggling to deal with the scale of this issue. The One In A Million project will allow them to look after more young girls, to prioritise those at risk more and to have a greater impact within their community.
It’s not about an organisation, a building, a property, the staff; it’s not about a philosophy, ideal or good idea; it’s about nurturing hurting children, in God’s love, to be all that He has planned for them to be, for His Glory. It is about the preparation that will enable them to serve their generation, and their nation, in His power and strength. Thank you.
