Diet and fitness expert Rosemary Conley will speak on ‘How God changed my Life!’ at an evening in Wolverhampton on Tuesday 11th November 2008 at 7pm (St Leonards, Walsall St, Bilston, West Midlands. Rosemary will reflect on her experience of nearly 40 years of health and fitness in the public eye and share how her faith has made all the difference through the highs and lows of her incredible journey.
YFC Commission unprecedented numbers of new staff and volunteers!
On October 11th Youth for Christ held its annual commissioning event at the Central Methodist Hall in Coventry. It was a great occasion where 106 new staff and volunteers were commissioned for service as part of YFC – committing themselves to the task of taking good news relevantly to every young person in Britain.
Oxygen’s Ladettes to Ladies
A special group of Kingston teenagers will be invited to change from being ladettes to become ladies this September when local Christian youth work charity Oxygen launches its ID project at their school.
New Pitch helping Scottish youth to Kick
After much planning and prayer, Youth for Christ finally received its portable Kick Street Football pitch at the end of June. On July 4th it had its very first outing in Glasgow, attracting young people and engaging with them. One young person said, ‘it’s great, I had a really good time’.
