"Finding credible, creative, dynamic resources to present the Gospel is always a challenge.  UNCUT achieves all of this through 6 innovative DVD-centred sessions, with group activities and discussion. This is ideally suited for young people on the margins or attending drop in clubs. I strongly endorse UNCUT.”  Roy Crowne, YFC Vice-President & Director of HOPE

UNCUT is a thought-provoking six session course produced by Reflex to engage young people who are seen as marginalised or at risk of offending. UNCUT is designed to help introduce young people aged 15-21yrs to the Christian faith in a way that is real, relevant, natural and non-threatening.

The course follows ‘the art of connecting’ 3-story model – Your Story, My Story, God’s Story.

Your Story: Sessions 1 and 2 explore issues relating to the young person’s identity and above all gives an opportunity for them to share a bit about who they are, the choices they have made and the hopes that they have.

My Story: Sessions 3 and 4 look at the impact that God makes on people’s lives when they encounter Him.

God’s Story: Sessions 5 and 6 look at the life of Jesus, what He said, what He did, why He died, and what our response should be.

UNCUT provides some essential thoughts and questions that young people sometimes see as irrelevant, in a way that they can understand and relate to.

If you work with young people in your community that you find are difficult to engage with church and faith, then UNCUT is a great way to ‘bridge the gap’ between hanging out with them and introducing them to the gospel message.

Each session is broken into 5 key parts:

Introduce: A way into the topic for the session.

Listen: A relevant quote or Bible verse to support the session topic.

Watch: A chance to explore the issues further through watching the UNCUT DVD.

Discuss: Activities and questions aimed at deepening understanding and allowing group members to express their own thoughts and experiences.

Reflect: An opportunity for group members to creatively respond to the issues explored in the session.
