Simeon Runs London!
Simeon Whiting, Youth for Christ’s Church Resource Manager, is running the London Marathon on 25th April to raise money for YFC’s crucial work in the UK and Haiti.
‘I work for Youth for Christ because I’m convinced that it’s crucial to share good news with young people,’ Simeon explains. ‘When I heard about the terrible earthquake in Haiti earlier this year, I also became convinced that we must do something to help rebuild this amazing country.’
Simeon loves running, and has been waiting for six years for a chance to take part in the London Marathon. ‘I can’t wait for the race!’ he smiles. ‘But I also want to make the most of this opportunity to raise some money for an important cause.’
Simeon hopes to raise £3,000 for YFC’s work. Please stand with Simeon as he takes on this challenge and give generously. Your support will make a huge difference to young people both here in the UK and in Haiti.
