It sometimes seems we can’t switch on the TV without seeing young people in the news…
How often have you seen reports of weekend binge-drinking, an attack in a school, teen mums, or anti-social behaviour? Tragically, most of Britain’s 7.2 million teenagers are living without Jesus. They may know His name, and even use it as a swear word, but few have had the gospel explained to them in a language that they understand.
With up to a thousand young people leaving the church every week, the situation is grave. 
If current trends continue - the Church is just one generation from extinction.
But today you have an opportunity to help turn the tide - to introduce unchurched teens to Jesus and even transform whole neighbourhoods…
Research shows that the average age of someone committing their life to Jesus Christ is 15. At YFC we are totally committed to reaching a generation of young people with the Good News of Jesus. Everyday our evangelists meet teens who’d never step foot inside a church. 80% of this work is in a local school setting. We go to where the young people are. Whether that’s inside prisons or in schools, in city-centres or skateparks, on a sports field or a football pitch.
What’s more, YFC communicate the gospel in relevant ways, through theatre companies, bands, dance groups and sports teams. We equip young Christians to reach their peers.
